During my stay at the artist residency fish factory in Stöðvarfjörður, Iceland, I crafted a limited edition of 10 custom-made vinyl records, each with a hand-printed sleeve.

My concept was to take a raw 12-inch vinyl and cut only a single song onto it using a vinyl record cutting lathe—turning the remaining space into a canvas for an engraved artwork related to the song, while the vinyl itself was laser-cut into shape. The music comes from a friend of mine at @popakademie

This was a highly experimental project—born from a spontaneous idea when I first saw the lathe machine, with no clear plan or guarantee it would work. But it did. The result is a fully playable, one-of-a-kind record for the beautiful single »Shadows« by The Rolling Oranges.

I also used one vinyl as a relief printing plate to create 10 unique sleeve artworks.
